Soft Tofu Hot Pot

A savory and spicy Soft Tofu Hot Pot made with Mori-Nu Super Soft Tofu.

Soft Tofu Hot Pot

Ingredients for 3 portions

・1 package (307g) Mori-Nu Silken Tofu Super Soft
・250ml water
・80g Chinese Cabbage kimchi
・5g gochujang
・15ml sesame oil
・40g leek(sliced)
・1 egg

Instructions

  1. Put water, Chinese Cabbage kimchi, gochujang, dashi stock base, and sesame oil in a pot and mix lightly.
  2. Add the Super Soft Tofu (cut into 6 pieces) and sliced leek, then heat over medium heat. *Super Soft Tofu is very delicate. Once added to the pot, do not stir while heating to prevent it from breaking apart.
  3. Once the mixture comes to a boil, reduce the heat to low. Crack the egg into the pot and cover with a lid. 
  4. Turn off the heat once the egg is lightly set and still soft.
